Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Maharashtra chapter on Sunday with a rally from Mumbai to Roha in Raigad district.

Led by Kejriwal, the 110-km rally took on issues that are plaguing farmers, tribals, fishermen, labourers and the poor.

During the three-hour rally, Kejriwal lashed out at the Maharashtra government over the irrigation scam and sought support for AAP.

GHAZIABAD: Land acquisition and corruption will be among a string of issues to be highlighted by Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party ( AAP), which today described the UPA government's decision to launch direct cash transfer scheme as a "bribe to voters".

After a two-day meeting of AAP's National Executive which took several decisions about future plans, Kejriwal also said the expose on corruption will continue even as it will target price rise and power issue in the national capital.

A day after announcing itself as the Aam Admi Party, the party’s national executive held its first meeting at member Prashant Bhushan’s house to decide its office-bearers. After deliberations that went on for a few hours, it was decided that Arvind Kejriwal would be the party’s convenor.
In addition, Pankaj Gupta was elected as the national secretary and Krishna Kant Sanju as the treasurer.“The national executive will meet again on Tuesday to decide on the course of action ahead,” Bhushan said. He said the office-bearers would now finish the formalities associated with registering the new party.

The party will not have a President, Vice President or General Secretary, but will have only a national convenor who will be elected
by the national executive.The Constitution of the party was also adopted at the meeting. A 30-member national executive will be the party's highest decision-making body.
